Interfaith Thanksgiving Service held at Christ

The Wantagh area religious community has been gathering together to give thanks on the eve of the Thanksgiving holiday for 57 years. Each year the service is held in a different house of worship. Christ Lutheran Church of Wantagh hosted this year's Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service on November 24. The handbell choir of Christ Lutheran and various synagogue and church choirs joined together to "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord". Rabbi Marci N. Bellows of Temple B'nai Torah delivered the message. At the conclusion of the service all were invited for refreshments and fellowship.
